Can provide a full Buddy Bag for a child in emergency accommodation. These children often arrive with nothing but the clothes they are wearing.
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s Buddy Bags program provides backpacks full of basic, essential items for children in emergency accommodation. They not only provide much needed material aid, they also help maintain routine and restore a sense of safety and security into their lives during an incredibly traumatic time.
The Foundation distributes Buddy Bags around the country every two weeks and has sent out more than 100,000 to date.
