Ganbina’s educational scholarship fund for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children & youth helps cover education-related expenses for primary school, and secondary school, as well as further education studies, such as a university or TAFE studies. If an item will help an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child or youth fully participate in education, training, or employment, they can access our scholarship fund to help cover these costs.

Ganbina gives more than 300 scholarships a year to help cover expenses such as uniforms, books, school fees, excursion fees, and equipment such as laptops or any other expense required to fully participate in education.

Ganbina works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families who often cannot afford these basic expenses for their children to fully participate in education. It is a hand-up, not a handout.
