My name is Marine, I’m the Nursery Manager here at Rainforest Rescue and I’d like to share an update on the work you’re making possible.

Firstly, it’s incredible to see how much progress has been made. It’s amazing to think that it’s been just over a year since we moved to our new nursery, and in that time so much good work has been completed.

From growing 12,000 trees to 50,000 just last year—this really is an extraordinary achievement!

But the reality is, with the impacts of climate change being felt across the globe and more animals at risk of extinction every day. We really need to do more, fast.

That is why we're now gearing up for the next phase of our plan, which is for the nursery to reach 150,000 trees a year and that’s where you come in, Donorfirst.

We need to raise $350,000 before June 30 to fund this vital work, and we need you to help us get there.

• $30 Would help buy sunscreen for the nursery staff who are out in the 30-degree heat every day, taking care of the plants.


• $40 Would buy a bag of vermiculture or worm compost to feed the soil, which is critical for growing healthy trees.


• $70 Will buy a bag of beneficiary bugs for pest control. Reducing chemical pest control dependency.


• $295 Could buy ten bags of perlite for potting mix.


• $1,450 Will buy nine bags of fertiliser. Greatly increasing the number of trees we can grow!
