The Esna Project, a 100-acre sustainable date plantation established in Upper Egypt in 2019, is transforming the lives of unemployed and disadvantaged people living in the rural villages around Esna.

Once a barren desert, this land has been lovingly rehabilitated and cultivated with the environment in mind, following sustainable agricultural principles.
