For over 40 years, HeartKids has been Australia's leading authority on childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD), which includes congenital heart disease (CHD) and conditions like acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD). With approximately 250,000 Australians affected by CoHD, including nearly 6,400 individuals with RHD in regional and remote areas, HeartKids plays a crucial role in supporting these communities.

As a dedicated not-for-profit organization, HeartKids provides vital support, resources, and advocacy to individuals and families impacted by CoHD. With a team of over 40 staff and numerous volunteers, HeartKids collaborates with more than 30 key organizations to deliver comprehensive care and support in hospitals, clinics, and communities nationwide.

It takes $3 a day to support a heart kids family, or $21 a week.
