Aged Care Volunteer Visitor - Frenchs Forest North Shore & Northern Beaches - #198704

Proveda is an approved provider of the Aged Care
Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS), funded by the Australian Government.

The ACVVS is a free service available for aged care
residential or Home Care Package recipients who:

· Are socially isolated, including if they belong to a
diverse, complex vulnerability or cultural group; and

· Do not have regular and reasonable frequent positive and
engaged contact with friends or relatives; and

· Feel isolated and lonely; and

· Have frailty, mobility or communication impairment that
prevents them from participating in social or leisure opportunities;

· Have been approved for, or are in receipt of government
residential aged care or HCP; and

· do not participate in social support group services funded
by a Commonwealth subsidized aged care program

Additional requirements: Completion of the Proveda Volunteer Registration Form, followed by an onboarding process, which includes a free Police Check. All our volunteers must be fully COVID vaccinated. Time Required: It is hoped that a volunteer could commit to approximately an hour per week/fortnight, More time if you have it. as a minimum.
